Mauritius – A Paradise

The Grand Bassin is a sacred place in Mauritius for hindus.  The waters of the lake situated in the crater of the extinct volcano. It is said that the source of this place is the river Ganges. It has got a temple with a statue of 108 feet high lord Shiva. This statue was brought here in 2007. This place is also known as Ganga talao.
